Celebrate the 60th year
of Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland in their support of the 1 in 8 children
and adults living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes by registering for the 16th
Annual SCUBA for Diabetes coming up on April 6 at CSU’s Busbey Natatorium. One
hundred percent of money raised from the event will remain in Greater Cleveland
to support diabetes education and support programs and Camp Ho Mita Koda for
children with diabetes.
Form a team or be paired with other
divers to assemble 1 of 6 giant 220 piece puzzles underwater. A minimum
donation of $100 is required to participate. Each diver will receive a 16th
annual commemorative SCUBA FOR DIABETES t-shirt, plus 60-plus minutes of dive
time and a certificate for a free air fill at one of the participating dive
shops, valid the month following the event. Participation is for divers age 10
or older with signed waivers and valid certification cards. Divers need to
bring their own gear, including tanks and soft weights.
Visit www.scubafordiabetes.org to register or make a donation to Scuba for Diabetes. Sponsorship opportunities available.
