2 Break-Ins At Vacant Shaker Heights Homes
Thieves stole a hot water tank and plumbing from one home and merely broke into another.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Shaker Heights Police dealt with a pair of vacant house break-ins over the past week and a half. From one house, thieves managed to snag a hot water tank and plumbing. Another home appears merely to have been broken into. Both thefts were reported by the vacant property's owner or property manager.
Theft, March 24 - A hot water tank and plumbing was stolen from a vacant house in the 3000 block of Hildana Road. The theft was reported by the home's property manager.
Damage, March 24 - A vehicle was damaged in the 15000 block of Van Aken Boulevard. A car was also stolen from the vehicle.

Theft, March 27 - Tires and rims were stolen from a Van Aken Boulevard resident's car. The theft occurred at approximately at 12:47 p.m.
Breaking and Entering, March 27 - A vacant home in the 3000 block of Colwyn Road was broken into by an unidentified suspect. The property was locked prior to the break-in. The theft was reported by the owner of the property.

Theft, March 28 - An unidentified male suspect stole a cell phone off the counter at CVS Pharmacy in the 17100 block of Chagrin Blvd. The theft occurred at about 2:20 p.m.
