2 Vehicles Stolen In Shaker Heights Over The Weekend
Someone broke into a locked garage to steal a 2016 Harley Davidson; while someone else stole a 2014 Nissan Maxima.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two vehicles were stolen in Shaker Heights over the weekend, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a 2014 Nissan Maxima. The bike theft happened when someone broke into a locked garage and took the vehicle; the car theft happened at the RTA station on Van Aken Boulevard.

Grand Theft Auto, October 5 — A 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a house on Albion Road on Friday night. Police said someone damaged the locked garage the bike was being kept in, got into the garage and stole the motorcycle. The motorcycle's license plate reads #RNCH.

Burglary, October 5 — Copper piping and a hot water tank were stolen from an unoccupied home in the 3000 block of Milverton Road. The theft was discovered by a contractor working on the property on Friday morning.
Thefts, October 6 — Two unlocked cars in the 3000 block of Colwyn Road were rifled through on early Saturday morning, police said. Personal property was taken from each vehicle.

Theft, October 6 — A package was taken from a home in the 15000 block of Scottsdale Road on Saturday. The thief also grabbed lawn equipment that was sitting around, police said.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, October 7 — Someone damaged a locked car parked in the 13000 block of Larchmere Boulevard and stole property from the vehicle.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, October 7 — Another vehicle was damaged as a prowler broke into the vehicle and stole personal property. This car was parked in the 2000 block of Kemper Road.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, October 7 — An unlocked car in the 17000 block of Winslow Road was rifled through on Sunday. Personal property and equipment were taken from the vehicle.
Grand Theft Auto, October 7 —A 2014 Nissan Maxima was stolen while it was parked at the GCRTA Rapid substation on Van Aken Boulevard. The owner had parked the car there overnight, police said. The vehicle's license plate is #HCY8659.
Theft, October 7 — A package was stolen from in front of a house on Aldersyde Road.
