3 Armed Robberies In 4 Days In Shaker Heights

Armed men stole a car and personal property from a Cleveland man and a Shaker Heights resident.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two armed robberies and one attempted robbery have taken place in the city in the past three days. A Cleveland resident had his car stolen by two men, one with a pistol, a Shaker Heights resident had personal property stolen at gunpoint and a teenager was threatened by two men with weapons.

The first incident took place on Friday. A resident in the 3000 block of Pennington Road reported that two men, both armed with weapons, demanded property from a teenager. Nothing was taken during the incident, police say.

There were two armed robberies on Monday, within 10 minutes of each other. A Cleveland resident at the Center for Dialysis Care, located on Chagrin Boulevard, was approached by two men, one of whom was displaying a handgun. The men demanded the Clevelander's 2014 silver, Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt during the incident.

Shaker Heights Police later recovered the car in Cleveland.

Five minutes later, at 6:10 a.m., a resident on Chagrin Boulevard reported they were robbed by two men, both displaying handguns. The suspects got away with the resident's personal property.
