3rd Vehicle Stolen In Shaker Heights In 7 Days

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Another car was stolen in Shaker Heights this week. This time, a black 2010 Hyundai Accent was taken from its owner while it was parked on Daleford Road on Thursday. Two vehicles were stolen over the weekend in the city.

Police records indicate the Accent was parked in the 3000 block of Daleford. The theft was discovered at about 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, police said. The car has the license plate #GNF2300.

Last Friday, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a house on Albion Road on Friday night. Police said someone damaged the locked garage the bike was being kept in, got into the garage and stole the motorcycle. The motorcycle's license plate reads #RNCH.

Then, on Sunday, a 2014 Nissan Maxima was stolen while it was parked at the GCRTA Rapid substation on Van Aken Boulevard. The owner had parked the car there overnight, police said. The vehicle's license plate is #HCY8659.
