Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy

Feeling
discouraged about the state of the world?
Join skilled facilitator Barbara
Ford
to explore how we can stay present, emotionally and spiritually, in
order to participate effectively and joyfully in the healing of our world in a
workshop, Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy. Based on
the revolutionary work of eco-philosopher Joanna Macy, called The Work That Reconnects, the
workshop will help participants move through disempowering despair and numbness
to a sense of connectedness and capacity to use their gifts in service to all.

Workshop
fee
(includes lunch): $25 per person ($15 for members of
sponsoring churches). Reservations
required by March 5
: (216) 751-2320 or church@firstunitariancleveland.org
