Another Car Stolen At Shaker Heights Gas Station

For the second time in less than two weeks, a car was snatched while it was parked at a gas station.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — For the second time in two weeks a car has been stolen while it was parked in front of a local gas station. This time, a new Hyundai was stolen from in front of the BP/711 store.

On Nov. 29, a 2014 black Dodge Journey was stolen from a Shaker Heights resident. The vehicle was at the Sunoco Gas Station on Lee Road and the driver was inside the station during the theft. The car's license plate reads FIT1308.

Burglary, Dec. 6 — Someone entered an unlocked garage in the 3000 block of Ardmore Road and stole a bicycle.

Possession of Stolen Goods, Dec. 7 — Police were called to the Shaker Quality Foods store, in the 3000 block of Lee Road, where they detained a 24-year-old Maple Heights man. The man was in possession of stolen goods.

Grand Theft Auto, Dec. 7 — An unidentified suspect stole a Lakewood resident's 2018 Blue Hyundai Santa Fe. The car was left unattended in the parking lot of the BP/711 in the 20000 block of Chagrin Boulevard. The car's license plate reads GYE4309.

Possession of Stolen Goods, Dec. 8 — Officers were called to the Walgreens Store in the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard where they detained a 51-year-old Cleveland man, who was found in possession of $53 of stolen goods.

Grand Theft Auto, Dec. 10 — A 2017 Bronze Kia Forte was stolen from a resident in the 3000 block of Sutton Road. The car's license plate reads: HBG1929
