Another Car Stolen In Shaker Heights This Month

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A fourth car has been stolen in Shaker Heights this month, police reported. This time a Hyundai Elantra was stolen while it was parked in the 3000 block of Lee Road.

The Elantra belongs to a Richmond Heights resident. He told police his car had been left unlocked. Investigators said the theft was discovered at about 7:30 p.m.

The theft of the Hyundai comes after three other cars were stolen this month in Shaker Heights. On Thursday, a Hyundai Accent was stolen while it was parked on Daleford Road. The car has the license plate #GNF2300.

Last Friday, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a house on Albion Road on Friday night. Police said someone damaged the locked garage the bike was being kept in, got into the garage and stole the motorcycle. The motorcycle's license plate reads #RNCH.

Then, on Sunday, a 2014 Nissan Maxima was stolen while it was parked at the GCRTA Rapid substation on Van Aken Boulevard. The owner had parked the car there overnight, police said. The vehicle's license plate is #HCY8659.
