Armed Robber Steals Cash From BP Gas Station In Shaker Heights

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The BP Gas Station on Larchmere Boulevard was robbed on Tuesday morning. Police said the robber used a handgun to steal money from the business.

The robbery happened at about 9:45 a.m. That's when the suspect came into the gas station, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The employee handed over the cash and the man ran out of the gas station on foot.

No one was hurt during the robbery. Police have also not made any arrests during their investigation.

Police did not say how much money was stolen from business. Detectives are investigating the incident, and video footage of the robbery has been located by police.

The suspect is a black man, standing between five feet nine inches tall and six feet one inch tall. He had a thin build, police said. When the robbery occurred, the man was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
