Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested By Shaker Heights Police
The suspects are accused of robbing a Shaker Heights woman at gunpoint and stealing her car.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Two men who may have robbed a Shaker Heights woman at gunpoint on April 27 have been arrested by police. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata the men stole was recovered by police.
Shaker Heights Police say they have arrested two 18-year-olds in connection with the incident on April 28. The stolen Sonata was spotted on Abell Road in Cleveland. Officers approached the vehicle and saw the two men inside. The men were arrested without incident.
A handgun and other property that had been reported stolen were located inside the vehicle. Police also found a 2004 Infinity G35 nearby that had been reported stolen from the city of Brooklyn. Shaker Heights Police will be working with Brooklyn and Parma Police to determine if the stolen vehicles are related.

The Shaker Heights robbery on April 27 occurred on Fernway Road. The victim told Shaker Heights Police she was visiting a friend when the suspects approached her. According to the 911, a suspect asked the woman to drive him to the Kinsman neighborhood of Cleveland. When the woman refused, he asked for a cell phone so he could call his mother. The victim handed him her cell phone. The suspect then pulled out a gun and took the victim's phone, keys, wallet, and vehicle.
The suspect and his two male companions fled the area in the vehicle. No injuries were reported, but the victim was taken to a local hospital.
