Armed Thief Steals Money from Shaker Heights Gas Station

An armed black male stole $600 from a BP Gas Station on Sept. 25.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - An armed black man stole $600 from BP Gas Station, 13165 Larchmere Blvd, on Sept. 25.

The theft took place at 11:35 a.m. The suspect came into the store wielding a handgun and demanded the money in the cash register. The cashier handed over $600 and the man fled. The cashier said the man was black, sporting a mustache, and stood about 5 feet 5 inches tall. The investigation is ongoing and police may acquire in-store video of the crime.

Theft, September 23 - At approximately 8:08 am, the manager of the Walgreens store, located in the 20000 block of Van Aken Blvd., reported that a female suspect stole several items of cleaning supplies.

Theft, Sept. 23 - At 4:03 pm, an employee of the Verizon store, located in the 16000 block of Chagrin Blvd., reported that a suspect stole equipment.

Theft, September 24 - An employee of the China Star restaurant, located in the 20000 block of Van Aken Blvd., reported that a male suspect stole their tip jar.

Theft, Sept. 24 - A juvenile resident reported that an unknown male suspect stole their bicycle that was left unsecured outside of Wendy’s restaurant, located in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Rd.
