Bike Shaker: East View Tour
Take a bike ride through Shaker Heights and learn more about its history and architecture.
The Shaker Historical Society & Museum (SHS), 16740 South Park Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH, is excited to announce our Bike Shaker Tours for 2015!
SHS Board Member Greydon Petznick, architect, and Bike Shaker Leader, Rick Smith, will lead you on six incredible tours of Historic Shaker Heights! All tours begin at 2pm and meet at the Shaker Historical Society. It is $15 to go on a tour if you use your own bike or $20 if you want to rent one of our bikes. SHS Members receive a $5 discount! All of the bike tours require an RSVP to 216-921-1201.
June 14 at 2pm- East View Tour
Join us on a 6 mile bike tour of the East View of Shaker Heights including the neighborhoods of Fernway, Sussex and Lomond. Learn about life when Shaker Heights was first settled; see the oldest house in Shaker, Van Sweringen demonstration homes and other historical treasures.
