Bike Shaker: Why all the red brick in Shaker?

Take a bike tour of historic Shaker Heights!

Join us on an 8.3 mile bike tour of historic Shaker Heights. Learn about why the predominant institutional and commercial architectural style is traditionally Georgian in Shaker. View homes and buildings designed by Cleveland architect Charles Schneider and Clarence Mack. See Plymouth Church and take in the sights of Shaker Square.

SHS Board Member Greydon Petznick, architect, and Bike Shaker Leader, Rick Smith, will lead you on this incredible tour. Tour begins at 2pm and meets at the Shaker Historical Society. It is $15 to go on a tour if you use your own bike or $20 if you want to rent one of our bikes. SHS Members receive a $5 discount! All of the bike tours require an RSVP to 216-921-1201.
