A Little Bit About Gina's Cancer Journey

Please help me in my journey in collecting hats and square scarves for cancer patients!

My name is Gina and I am a 21 year old college student who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in February of 2012. My journey has included brain surgery, as well as months of extensive physical, occupational, speech, radiation and chemo therapy. Through my treatment, I lost my hair. I found myself on a quest for suitable hats and hair covers. As a result, I have established a place for cancer patients to find a hat or hair cover at no charge to them.

I am looking for gently used hats and square scarves that cancer patients can use to cover their heads. All sizes and all ages needed! Male and female hats please! We Also except monetary donations. The hats and square head scarves will be distributed to patients undergoing treatment in the Pediatric and Adult Infusion Centers at UH Seidman Cancer Center - UH Case Medical Center. All items collected will be dry cleaned before distribution.
