Change the World Campaign

How often do our young people express a desire to Change the World. It is a good and ambitious effort that deserves our support. What is your part?

Recently my youngest son, David, set out to write his vision of changing the world. He is 20 years young and had opened a Word document to begin his thesis. Two days later, the Word document was still open on the computer with the heading Change the World Campaign; but there were no details. I was both impressed and trouble at the same time. David wants to have an impact on the world at 20 years young, but he is not sure where to begin.

At more than twice his age, I would like to offer five key quotes for changing the world. Let’s not reinvent the wheel, but let us draw on the wisdom of those whom have enlightened us:

1.)    “Be the change you want to see in the world”  Mahatma Gandhi

2.)    “Do unto other as you would have others do unto you” Jesus Christ

3.)    “Change your thoughts and you change your world.”  Norman Vincent Peale

4.)    “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Ben Franklin

5.)     “But you can change your health—if you commit yourself to making good choices.” Dr. Oz

Everything we need to Change The World into a healthy and happy environment has been provided to us or our friends and family.

Question: What do these quotes mean to you?  Changing Your Thoughts Involves Choices.

Choice is a very powerful tool and will be expressed in our next election! Are you voting to Change the World?
