Break-In At Shaker Medical Building

Police were brought to the scene by an alarm. Nothing appears to have been taken.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights Police are investigating a break-in at the Shaker Medical Building that occurred Saturday. The building's alarm was set off, bringing police to the scene. But nothing appears to have been stolen during the incident.

In nearby Beachwood, there were two break-in attempts at Gorden Dental and Ashton Technology on Friday night. The suspect in those crimes damaged the front door of one of the buildings, but does not appear to have taken anything.

Burglary, Jan. 2 — Someone got into a residence in the 3000 block of Menlo Road and stole personal property, according to a resident. The home was locked at the time of the theft.

Breaking and Entering, Jan. 6 — Police were called to the Shaker Medical Building, in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road, after an alarm went off. Officers discovered that someone had gotten into the building, but no property appears to have been stolen.

Theft, Jan. 6 — A resident on Cheshire Road reported that someone stole their personal property.
