Burglaries In Shaker Heights Over The Weekend

Two homes were hit by prowlers on Sunday. Electronics and personal property were stolen.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A series of thefts from cars and home plagued Shaker Heights over the weekend, according to police reports. A pair of burglaries were committed on Sunday, one hitting a locked home and the other an unlocked home. It's unclear if the crimes are connected.

Theft, June 23 - Personal property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 18000 block of Chagrin Boulevard.

Motor Vehicle Theft, June 25 - A resident in the 2000 block of Claythorne Road reported on Sunday that someone stole their white 2010 Ford Explorer Station Wagon. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft, police say. The vehicle's license plate reads #FAW8925.

Burglary, June 25 - A television was stolen from a home in the 13000 block of South Park Blvd. The unidentified suspect was able to enter a locked home to commit the burglary.

Burglary, June 25 - This time a prowler hit an unlocked home in the city. A resident reported that an unidentified suspect entered their home in the 19000 block of Winslow Road and personal property and electronics. The house was unlocked at the time of the theft, police say.
