Wild Edibles Nature Walk with Jeremy Umansky

Join the Shaker Historical Society and local chef, forager, and Shaker resident Jeremy Umansky of Larder Delicatessen and Bakery for a guided nature walk at Horseshoe Lake Park, where Jeremy will point out edible plants and other wild finds along the way. Learn to identify what's growing right around us and possibly in your backyard!

Two sessions are available:

• Morning session — 10:00am-12:00pm
• Afternoon session — 12:30pm-2:30pm

This is a free event presented as part of the America250-Ohio celebration of Ohio Grows: Food & Farms. Registration is required. This event is recommended for ages 10 and up, but all ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear due to uneven terrain. In the event of extreme weather, the walk will be rescheduled to October 17, 2026.
