Car Accident Leads To Shaker Heights Car Jacking
A Shaker Heights woman's 2016 blue Ford Escape was stolen April 19 after being involved in a collision.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - A Shaker Heights resident's car was stolen April 19. The resident's car was struck while driving. When the resident pulled over and assessed the damage, the driver of the other car grabbed the resident's keys and drove the resident's vehicle toward Shaker Square.
There were two people in the suspect vehicle, according to the 911 call. Police say the suspect vehicle is a black SUV and the resident's vehicle is a 2016 blue Ford Escape. Shaker Police say they are working with Cleveland Police to see if there have been any similar incidents.
