Car Stolen From Enterprise In Shaker Heights

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Someone stole a 2017, dark blue, 4-door Nissan Altima from the Enterprise Rent-a-Car on Chagrin Boulevard on Friday. The car had a Wisconsin license plate reading 537XZU. The next day, on July 28, police arrested a teenager from Cleveland, for stealing a car from Enterprise. The 19-year-old is being detained by police.

Here are other notable incidents from the past week in Shaker Heights.

Theft, July 24 — Two Shaker teenagers, ages 13 and 14, were detained by police after they stole an electronic tablet from a Lakewood resident. The Lakewood resident was visiting Chelton Park, police said.

Theft from Motor Vehicle, July 25 — Someone stole property from an unlocked car parked on Van Aken Boulevard. Police believe the theft happened during the nighttime hours.

Theft, July 29 — A 15-year-old Garfield Heights girl was detained by police on Sunday, after she called a taxi and then got out of the vehicle without paying the driver.
