Cash Stolen From Pizza Joint In Shaker Heights

The money was grabbed from an "unsecured area" according to police.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Police are investigating a cash-snatch that happened at Donatos Pizza over the weekend. Money was grabbed from an "unsecured area" in the shop, according to police records.

Theft, March 23 — Police stopped a 20-year-old Cleveland man on Van Aken Boulevard. The man was seen with a package that had been reported stolen by a Shaker Heights resident. The package was found in the 20-year-old's possession.

Shoplifting, March 24 — A 57-year-old Cleveland man was found in possession of goods that had been stolen from Heinen's grocery store. Police detained the man.

Shoplifting, March 24 — Police were called to the GameStop on Chagrin Boulevard at about 4:40 p.m. Officers then detained a 53-year-old Cleveland man after they found him in possession of stolen goods.

Theft, March 25 — A woman visiting the Shaker Heights Library told police that someone stole some of her property. The property had been left unattended at the library.

Burglary, March 28 — Someone broke into a home in the 18000 block of Chagrin Boulevard during the last week of March. Despite the break-in, police said nothing appears to have been taken from the home.

Theft, March 29 — A shopper at Dollar Tree on Chagrin Boulevard had personal property stolen from them by another customer.

Theft from Business, April 1 — The manager of Donatos Pizza reported that someone stole money from the store on Easter. The theft was reported at about 11:30 a.m.
