Community Policing Forum Being Held In Shaker Heights

Residents can attend the free session, with Police Chief Jeffrey DeMuth, and express concerns or ask questions of police leadership.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — There will be a Community Policing and Public Safety forum in Shaker Heights on June 14. The event will feature Police Chief Jeffrey DeMuth and other command staff from the police department.

The event will be held at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones building, 3450 Lee Road, at 7 p.m. The event is being presented by the Lomond Association, according to a social media post from the Shaker Heights Police Department.

During the event, attendees will learn about new community policing initiatives and have the chances to ask questions of police leadership. Attendees can also express any concerns they may have about police issues in Shaker Heights.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to learn how they can pitch in and help make Shaker Heights a better community.

The Lomond Association is accepting questions submitted in advance of the event. Prospective attendees can email their questions to lomond.association@gmail.com or can simply submit their question on the night of the event.

The Community Policing and Public Safety forum is free and open to the public. The event is expected to last about 90 minutes, concluding at approximately 8:30 p.m.
