Construction Coming To Onaway Road Sept. 14
The RTA will be improving the rail crossings on Onaway. That means traffic will be down to one lane on Van Aken Boulevard near the site.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Onaway Road RTA crossing will be closed Sept. 14-Sept. 29, the city announced. The crossing will be undergoing reconstruction during that period. The city said the work should be finished by Sept. 29 but weather could extend the project.
During the construction, both vehicular and pedestrian traffic across Van Aken, on Onaway, will be prohibited. Detour signs will be posted.
Pedestrians will also be able to cross at temporary crossings outside the construction area. Those temporary crossings will be marked with signs.
