Elderly Couple Found Shot to Death in Shaker Heights
One of the deceased is Carol Posner, a 76-year-old woman. Police believe her husband may have killed her.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Two elderly adults were found shot to death inside their home on Morley Road yesterday. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that one of the deceased is Carol Posner, a 76-year-old woman.
Shaker Heights Police say they believe Posner was shot dead by her husband, but have not yet confirmed the identify of the other body found in the house. There are no other suspects and the department does not believe there is any immediate threat to public safety.
At 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 3, Shaker Heights police were sent to Morley Road to check on the welfare of an elderly couple that had not been in contact with their family. When officers arrived they found Posner and a man believed to be her husband dead inside the residence. Both bodies were found in the same room.

Both people suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Posner is scheduled to undergo an autopsy today.
