Trepanning Trio is an instrumental, avant-chamber ensemble that performs using only classical, traditional and handmade instruments, including viola da gamba, kalimba, guzheng and pan lids screwed onto sticks and played with violin bows. The group Trio typically performs with a rotating lineup of six to twelve musicians.
