Survival: A First-Person Account of the Holocaust

Holocaust survivor Betty Gold will speak about her family's survival and escape during the Nazi invasion of Trochenbrod, Poland, in 1939-1942. After her talk, the book "The Heavens Are Empty: Discovering the Lost Town of Trochenbrod" by Avrom Bendavid-Val, will be on sale. This is a special program offered by Friends of the Shaker Library at its annual meeting.
