Transit of Venus astronomical event viewing

The Transit of Venus, a rare astronomical event that won’t be seen again until 2117, will be visible. The planet Venus will pass between the Earth and the sun.

The viewing area will be set up by 5 p.m. The Transit begins at 6 p.m. and will be visible until sunset. Astronomy teachers, astronomy students and other teachers will be there with safe solar telescopes, projected images and solar viewers.
