Fan Arrested At Shaker Basketball Event, Game Cancelled
Police said a man came onto the court and was arrested, prompting the cancellation of the varsity game between Shaker and Brush.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Tuesday night's basketball game between Shaker Heights High and Brush High was cancelled after an incident with unruly spectators at halftime, the Shaker school district announced.
"District security responded and resolved the situation. There were no weapons involved. The incident did not involve the players or coaches. The game was immediately canceled and spectators were dismissed," Shaker Heights Schools said in a statement posted online.
Police confirmed that at least one person was arrested at the Shaker home game on Tuesday night, a 21-year-old man from Euclid. There are also reports that a student may have been injured while exiting the building, according to News 5.

"The Shaker Heights City School District will work with law enforcement and South Euclid-Lyndhurst school officials to evaluate tonight’s incident. The District expects all persons to conduct themselves properly and will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our student athletes, spectators and our families at sporting events," the Shaker Heights's note ended.
