Financial Planning Series Coming To Shaker Heights

Need help planning for college? Want to make sure you're stable financially? This session is for you.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — College is increasingly mandatory for students that want to enter specific career fields. Paying for college is increasingly difficult as tuition rises and financial planning is key.

The Shaker Heights Schools are hosting the Strategies for Life Financial Wellness Series, an event that will teach families how to start saving early and finish strong. The event is organized by the Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE).

The event will be held Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Shaker Heights High School, 15911 Aldersyde Dr. The upper cafeteria will be the host room.

The event is open to all Shaker Heights Schools families, friends, neighbors and staff. The workshop also includes a free breakfast.
