Food Truck Friday At Fernway Elementary
Besides delicious grub, the event gives residents a chance to thank Shaker Heights Fire and Police for their actions during the school fire.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Food Truck Friday will come to Fernway Elementary on Friday, August 3. Fire Truck Pizza Co. and East Coast Custard will park their trucks in front of the school from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this week.
The event will give residents the chance to thank members of the Shaker Heights Fire and Police departments for their actions during and after the fire at Fernway. Officials will present both departments with gratitude books and thank you bags that were collected from the Gratitude Station for Fernway.
Shaker Heights Fire Department will also receive the original posters and countless notes that people wrote to them following the Fernway fire. Food Truck Friday is being put on the by the Parent Teacher Organization.

A portion of all proceeds from Friday's event will benefit Fernway students.
