Artist Statement
I work to recreate a sanctuary of thought in reflection of the experiences I have had in several natural locations by using organic forms as matrices. Through traditional and non-traditional media, I have been able to challenge myself with tactile making and technological advancement while using material and craft as poetry. The work consists of photographs of laser cut paper installations, encaustics, enamel and paper sculptures.
