Friends of the Shaker Library Sponsors Online Fire Pit Raffle

For 40 years, Friends of the Shaker Library has supported the Library. Although the nonprofit organization has temporarily suspended book donations and book sales during the pandemic and the Main Library renovation, the Library's critical work continues, and they are looking at new ways to raise funds in support.

New this fall is the Friends' Online Raffle for a Fire Pit to bring warmth and coziness to your outdoor settings. Prize includes: A brand new, 28-inch fire pit, a bundle of firewood, all the makings for s'mores, plus a little book with s'more recipes. The winning ticket will be drawn on November 25 - just in time for Thanksgiving. Already have a fire pit? It would make a warm holiday gift.
