Gas Main Projects Start This Week In Shaker Heights
Drivers should expect delays on South Woodland and Wimbledon and Hazelmere.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two major gas line replacement projects are underway in Shaker Heights this week. One project will be done on South Woodland Road, the other will be on Wimbledon and Hazelmere roads.
The city said the South Woodland project will cause significant delays for drivers. Crews will be working between Warrensville Center and Green roads. Work will be done Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The South Woodland project will see 17,600 linear feet of gas main pulled out and replaced. Work could last up to four months, depending on the weather.

Dominion Energy will also be working on Wimbledon and Hazelmere, between Sulgrave Oval and Green Road, this week. The project could last three months, weather permitting.
Traffic will be maintained in both directions during the project, but commuters should still expect delays. Crews will be working Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
