Honda Stolen From Shaker Heights Resident

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Imagine going to check out a book from Shaker Heights Public Library and instead having your car stolen. That's exactly what happened to one resident about two weeks ago.

A resident was visiting the library when someone stole her car keys. The woman's car, a 2010 Honda CRV was then stolen from the parking lot.

The vehicle was found in Cleveland on April 28. Police were able to identify and arrest a juvenile girl for the crimes.

There were two other incidents of note from the past week in Shaker Heights. Check them out below.

Theft, May 4 — A cell phone was stolen from a student at Shaker Heights High School during an athletic event on Friday night. Police reports say the student does not know who stole the cell phone.

Shoplifting, May 4 — Two juveniles were seen stealing merchandise from the Dollar Tree store on Chagrin Boulevard. They were detained by police at about 8:30 p.m.
