Italian Bistro Will Replace Beachwood Hiroshi's Pub
Milo Valenti will serve up Neapolitan pizzas, Italian fare at his rustic family-friendly Ristorante

Milo Valenti may have a hand in Michaelangeloβs in Little Italy, but he insists Valentiβs Ristorante, which he will open this summer in the site in Beachwood, will be different.
βI want everybody to be able to eat here,β he said. βWhen you walk in, youβre going to feel like you walked into your home.β
He remembered dinners with his family when he was young. βYouβd go to your auntβs and sheβd have six or seven dishes laid out. You didnβt know what you were going to eat before you got there, but you knew you were going to eat.β

Valentiβs will offer Neapolitan pizzas cooked in a wood-burning stove placed in the middle of the restaurant, where customers will see it the minute they walk in. On Sundays, he will serve Italian-style brunch. He will also serve antipastos and pasta β and donβt forget the take-home family style dinners.
Valenti envisions feeding a family for $20 with his carry-out dinners, and serving kids in the former dining room, which heβs making over into a rustic bistro in shades of deep red, walnut and black.

The bar area will become a lounge with a community dining table, small plates, wines β from $10 bottles to authentic champagnes β and a live piano player.
Valentiβs Ristorante will be open in early July, in time for diners to eat al fresco on the outdoor patio.
