MAJOR BIENNIAL ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES SALE ON SEPT 20-21

CELEBRATE! 2014 OFFERS SHOPPERS AN ENORMOUS SELECTION OF QUALITY MERCHANDISE AT THE BIENNIAL BENEFIT SALE FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Cleveland—Northeast Ohioans can discover new treasures at the biennial benefit for Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio: Celebrate! 2014. Originated in 1948, this distinctive sale has raised more than $1 million in recent years to support women’s access to essential health care services.

Celebrate! 2014 will begin Saturday, September 20, at 9 a.m. with a special preview sale for a $10 admission fee. The sale will be free to the public from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturday, and again on Sunday, September 21, from 11 a.m. -3 p.m. The benefit is held at the Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development located at 11910 Malvern in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Free parking will be available on site.

The largest of its kind in Northeast Ohio, this sale features a wide variety of items, all of which are donated: vintage and contemporary furniture, framed mirrors, area rugs, jewelry, much sterling, gold, designer costume, men’s accessories, Hermes Paris scarves, neckties, original framed art, sterling flatware, holloware, china sets, decorative lamps, and fine table linens.

“All items for Celebrate! 2014 have been carefully inspected, and benefit participants have come to trust the merchandise we make available for sale,” said Chairwoman Jean Sarlson. “We’re grateful for the donors who give so generously to this sale so we can continue to help Planned Parenthood provide affordable quality care in Ohio.”

Since 1948 hundreds of eager shoppers have traveled from across Northeast Ohio and as far as the Mahoning Valley to participate in this sale and celebrate the work of Planned Parenthood.
