Man Nearly Mugged in Shaker Heights
A man with a gun approached a pedestrian on Fairhill Road, but was scared off by a passing car.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - A man was nearly mugged in Shaker Heights this past week. Read on for more information.
Theft, Jan. 24 - Someone stole property from an unlocked home on South Woodland Road. A resident discovered the theft at 9:18 a.m.
Burglary, Jan. 25 - Another home theft in Shaker Heights. This time an unidentified suspect damaged a lock and entered a home on Traver Road, again stealing personal property.

Theft, Jan. 25 - An unlocked car on Gridley Road was rifled through by a prowler. The owner discovered that their cell phone and other personal property was missing from the vehicle.
Menacing, Jan. 25 - A Shaker Heights resident was nearly assaulted. He told police that he was walking along the 13000 block of Fairhill Road when a hooded man, with a light beard, approximately 6'0 and 190 pounds approached him. The man was carrying a firearm. However, passing drivers scared the approaching man off. No injuries were reported and no property was taken.

Theft, Jan. 26 - Someone entered an apartment on Warrensville Center Road and stole a television. The theft occurred sometime during the afternoon.
