Man Steals Shaker Heights Police Car, Rams 2 Others
The man allegedly got in an unlocked police cruiser with the keys inside and drove into two others near Becket and Hampton Roads.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — It's a bad day in Shaker Heights for Police Cruisers.
Police arrested a man Thursday morning after he allegedly stole an unlocked police cruiser and crashed it into two others near the intersection of Becket and Hampton Roads, reported Cleveland.com.
The incident started when the suspect was trying to enter the Greenview Day Treatment Center on the 14000 block of Southington Road during a fire drill, police told Cleveland.com. Police were called around 9:30 Thursday morning and set up a perimeter around the facility to search for the suspect.

An officer then found the suspect in a nearby parking lot underneath a vehicle, reported Cleveland.com. The man then slid out from underneath the vehicle and got into an empty, unlocked police cruiser with the keys inside, police said. Then, the man drove the car into two others before he was arrested, reported Cleveland.com.
During the collision one police officer was injured and transported to the hospital with minor injuries, reported Cleveland.com.
