All Aboard: New Director Takes Charge Of Shaker School Buses

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH —The Shaker Heights City Schools have named an interim Transportation Supervisor. Erin Spevak will take over the role, succeeding Mark Desmond.

“Erin’s experience at Shaker Schools makes her ideally suited to transition to Interim Transportation Supervisor,” says Director of Operations David Boyer. “She has a very strong rapport with our entire Transportation Department and is an asset to our Operations team.”

Spevak has been the assistant transportation supervisor since December 2015. In her new role, she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of school bus operations.

Before coming to Shaker, Spevak was the Transportation Supervisor for the United Disability Services of Akron, where she scheduled and assigned all daily routes and supervised data entry, report writing, and verification, the school district said.
