Nexus Academy of Cleveland to host information session for prospective students and parents

Nexus Academy of Cleveland will host an information session for prospective students and families to learn more about the blended high school on Wednesday, September 24th. This event will provide interested students and parents the chance to see how the blended model works and speak with faculty and staff about enrollment and curriculum.

Nexus Academy of Cleveland is a public, tuition-free, blended high school where students attend classes at a state-of-the-art physical campus and follow an online curriculum. Nexus Academy offers students a comprehensive high school experience including Career Technical Education (CTE) courses, foreign languages, core academics and more. Among the engaging electives offered is Juilliard eLearning, online music courses developed exclusively with the famed conservatory.

Students are provided with a mobile computer and other technology tools; allowing them to work anywhere within the Nexus Academy school and beyond, 24/7. Located at 3615 Superior Avenue near downtown Cleveland, Nexus Academy is part of the Connections Education (www.ConnectionsEducation.com) family, a leading fully-accredited provider of high-quality, highly accountable online and blended learning.

Nexus Academy of Cleveland received accreditation by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), an accrediting division of AdvancED, for meeting high quality standards, implementing a continuous process of improvement and engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review.

A recent survey of parents with children enrolled in Nexus Academy of Cleveland shows 82 percent of the parents would recommend Nexus Academy to other parents. In addition 74 percent gave the overall program an “A” or “B” grade.
