Nissan Maxima Stolen In Shaker Heights, Keys Left Inside Vehicle

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A resident learned a hard lesson about not leaving car keys inside a car when their vehicle was stolen. Luckily, police said they may have a lead on who took the vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft, April 16 — A 2004 Black Nissan Maxima was stolen on Monday. The car was in the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard. The keys to the car were left inside the vehicle. The license plate on the vehicle reads #EAV2184. Police say they have a suspect in the theft.

Theft, April 18 — Tools were taken from an unsecured work site in the 1200 block of Fairhill Road. A maintenance worker noticed the theft and reported it to police.

Theft, April 19 — An employee at the Positive Education Program on Southington Road reported that someone stole their cell phone. The phone was not locked up or kept securely when it was stolen, according to police records.
