Package Thief Caught On Camera In Shaker Heights

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Police are looking for the person responsible for a series of package thefts throughout Shaker Heights. The suspect was captured on a resident's home surveillance system. That footage is available at the bottom of this article.

Most recently, there was a theft of a package incident on May 9. Someone stole a package off an Enderby Road resident's front porch. Police said at the time that there was a suspicious blue Honda seen in the area. The vehicle had blue tape on its trunk.

Police are asking residents to examine the video and study the person's mannerisms, clothing, and face. If you recognize the person contact Shaker Heights police at (216) 491-1234 with tips. Tips may remain anonymous.

"If you recognize anyone acting suspiciously in your neighborhood, contact our department immediately. Our officers will investigate concerns in a polite and professional manner. Stay tuned to our social media for tips on how to prevent package theft," the department said on Facebook.
