Philip L. Small, Architect by David Ellison

Sunday, October 19th at 3pm

Join us at the Shaker Historical Society, 16740 South Park Blvd, on Sunday, October 19th to hear David Ellison present his research on Philip L. Small. Small designed The Country Club’s new club house in Pepper Pike for the club’s relocation from Bratenahl in 1929. David Ellison assisted in the renovation of the Van Swerigen’s Daisy Hill Farm. This is an encore presentation of the 125th Anniversary of Country lecture series.

SHS Member Jack Thalman has led a series of celebrations for The Country Club’s 125th Anniversary. From dances to lectures, it has been quite a program. The Shaker Historical Society’s archives provided some research assistance to Ellison.

The program begins at 3pm, it is $10 general admission but only $5 for SHS Members. You can join the SHS at the individual level of $35. You will receive discounts at our programs throughout the year of your membership and much more! RSVP to Ruth at 216-921-1201
