Public Input Wanted On Shaker's Superintendent Search
Meetings will be held Wednesday and Thursday nights at the high school, giving the public time to weigh in.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The search for the next superintendent of the Shaker Heights Schools continues this month with two public meetings setting the "leadership profile" for desirable candidates.
What is a "leadership profile"? It's effectively an outline of the skills candidates should possess to be considered for the superintendent position, the district said on its website.
Building that profile out isn't solely a school district administration job. The public has been invited to weigh in on the leadership profile in one of two ways. First, there is an online survey that can be filled out at your convenience.

Former Shaker Heights Schools Superintendent Gregory Hutchings left the district over the summer. Stephen Wilkins was named interim superintendent soon after news of Hutchings' departure became public and has been serving in the role this school year.
