Rash of Thefts Hit the City: Shaker Heights Police Blotter

Two cars were stolen this week, along with a variety of other items, including laptops, bicycles, and landscaping equipment.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - A number of thefts occurred early this week, with two cars being stolen from their owners and a number of other items being snatched.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Oct. 4 - At approximately 7:14 am, a resident in the 17000 block of Fernway Rd. reported that an unknown suspect(s) entered their home during the overnight hours, stole their keys,
personal property, and their 2014 White 4-door Toyota Corolla with Ohio license plate #GAV9225.

Theft, Oct. 4 - Two employees of the University Hospitals Administration building located in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Rd. reported that an unknown suspect(s) stole laptop computers that were left unsecured.

Theft, Oct. 4 - At approximately 2:14 pm, a resident in the 2500 block of Kemper Rd. reported that an
unknown suspect(s) stole one tire from their 2016 Jeep Compass, which was parked in an open garage.

Theft, Oct. 4 - At approximately 8:44 pm, a resident in the 3000 block of Lynnfield Rd. reported that an unknown suspect(s) stole two bicycles from their unlocked garage.

Theft, Oct. 3 - A landscaper working in the 3000 block of Chalfant Rd. reported that an unknown suspect(s) stole unsecured equipment from their truck.

Theft, Oct. 3 - At approximately 6:06 pm, an employee of Juma Gallery, located in the 20000 block of Chagrin Blvd., reported that unknown suspect(s) entered the gallery, stole their keys, and stole their 2014 White Subaru Impreza bearing Ohio license plate #GRN1282.
