Reminder: Shaker Heights Snow Parking Ban Applies to All City Streets

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Being at the tail edge of the snow belt means that Cleveland's eastern suburbs are regularly the victims of a brutal snowfall. With forecasts calling for freezing temperatures and more snow throughout the week, it's important to know what your city's parking ban is for winter days.

In Shaker Heights, the parking ban applies to all city streets and goes into effect whenever there is two or more inches of snow on the ground.

Shaker Heights police reminded residents of the parking ban over the weekend and implored people to obey the law. "Help the hard working men and women of our public service department get the roads clean when it snows," the department said.
