Restaurant Broken Into In Shaker Heights: Police Blotter
A fish and chicken restaurant was burgled on Tuesday, police said. The thieves got away with the business' money.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Burglars struck a Shaker Heights restaurant on early Tuesday morning, damaging the building and stealing money.
Sam Sylk’s Chicken and Fish Restaurant on Lee Road was broken into Tuesday, police said. The break-in was discovered at about 5:15 a.m.
The restaurant was locked overnight, so the burglars damaged the building to get in. Theft from Car, Dec. 13 — Two cars on Scottsdale Boulevard were targeted by thieves on Thursday morning. Both vehicles were left unlocked overnight, police said.
Theft from Car, Dec. 13 — The license plate was stolen from a car parked in the 3000 block of Colwyn road. The plate, an Ohio license, reads FSN8086, police said. That same day, on Colywyn, property was also stolen from an unlocked car.
Package Theft, Dec. 13 — A delivered package was stolen from outside a home on Avalon Road, police said.
