Robbers Flash Handguns At Man In Shaker Heights

Two suspects brandished firearms and robbed a man, stealing his wallet and his gun.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Police are looking for two robbery suspects that flashed guns at a man in the city and stole his wallet. Theft from Motor Vehicle, Aug. 15 — While parked at the Walgreens Store on Van Aken Boulevard, a South Euclid resident's car was entered and someone stole personal property from the vehicle.

Shoplifting, Aug. 15 — Police were called to the Walgreens on Van Aken Boulevard for reports of a shoplifting. Officers learned that an unknown male suspect wearing dark clothing had stolen merchandise and ran out of the store.

Robbery, Aug. 16 — Two men robbed a 23-year-old Warrnesville Heights man in the early morning hours of Wednesday. The victim said the men flashed handguns at him before stealing his money and his handgun. The man was in the 18000 block of Chagrin Blvd. when the incident occurred. The victim was not hurt.

Theft, Aug. 16 — An unidentified suspect entered a resident's open, detached garage and stole a lawn mower and bicycle. The theft took place on Scottsdale Boulevard.

Motor Vehicle Theft, Aug. 16 — Police were called to the 14000 block of Drexmore Road where a Medina resident was reporting that their vehicle had been stolen. The vehicle, a 2008 bronze Honda Civic 2-door motor vehicle with Ohio license plates, was left parked and unlocked, with the keys inside the vehicle.

Theft from Motor Vehicle, Aug. 16 — A resident in the 18000 block of Chagrin Boulevard reported that an unknown suspect stole a laptop computer from their unlocked car.
