Newt Gingrich to Megyn Kelly: 'You Are Fascinated With Sex!' (Video)
Megyn Kelly told Newt Gingrich: "You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker."
Former House speaker Newt Gingrich blasted Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Tuesday night for her coverage of sexual assault allegations against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, accusing her of being "fascinated with sex."
Gingrich, who is an ardent Trump supporter, complained in a contentious segment on the show that Kelly was too focused on the accusations against Trump and not zeroing in on issues related to Hillary Clinton, such as the Democratic nominee's private speeches to bankers or any of the other revelations from the WikiLeaks trove of documents.
"I am sick and tired of people like you using that language. That is inflammatory, that is not true," Gingrich said, pointing his finger directly into the camera, after Kelly used the term "sexual predator" to describe Trump's actions. "When you use those words, you take a position, and it is very unfair of you to do that, Megyn."

"I think your defensiveness on this may speak volumes, sir," Kelly replied.
She continued: "Let me make my point ... If Mr. Trump is a sexual predator, then it is a big story. And what we saw on that tape was Trump saying himself he likes to grab women by their genitals and kiss them against their will. That's what we saw. And then we saw 10 women come forward after he denied actually doing it."

"You are fascinated with sex and you don't care about public policy," Gingrich said.
"Me, really?" Kelly asked.
"That's what I get out of watching you tonight," Gingrich said.
She shot back: "You know what, Mr. Speaker? I am not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we're getting in the Oval Office."
Gingrich then accused Kelly of ignoring Bill Clinton's past sex scandals, but she shot the accusation down, saying they have covered Clinton's past.
"We on 'The Kelly File' have covered the Clinton matter as well," she said. "But he's not on the ticket. And the polls also show that the American public is less interested in the deeds of Hillary Clinton's husband than they are in the deeds of the man who asks us to make him president, Donald Trump."
Kelly tied off the interview, saying, "You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker."
"You too," Gingrich replied.
