Scottsdale Home Burgled On Christmas Day
The locked house was hit by a burglar, police say. The theft was discovered at about 11:30 p.m.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two homes were hit by a burglar on Dec. 22 and Dec. 25. Both homes were locked at the time of the burglary. One of the homes was hit on Christmas Day, with some property being stolen from the home.
Police are also searching for a suspect or suspects that has been breaking into minivans and damaging the steering column. Two minivans on Van Aken Boulevard were hit and suffered similar damage.

Shoplifting, Dec. 20 — A man stole merchandise from the BP/7-Eleven store in the 20000 block of Chagrin Boulevard last Wednesday. An employee reported the theft at about 12:30 p.m.
Theft from Home, Dec. 20 — Someone stole a delivered package from outside a home in the 17000 block of Scottsdale Boulevard. The package was unsecured at the time of the theft.

Criminal Damaging, Dec. 21 — Someone broke into a Van Aken Boulevard resident's 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan around 11:40 p.m. on Thursday night and damaged the steering column. The minivan had been left unlocked.
Criminal Damaging, Dec. 22 — The Van Aken Boulevard owner of a 1995 blue Dodge Caravan woke up Friday morning and discovered that someone had damaged the doors on their vehicle and damaged the steering column on the vehicle. The minivan had been locked.
Shoplifting, Dec. 22 — Police were called to the Walgreens on Chagrin Boulevard Friday afternoon for reports of a man that had stolen some food.
Burglary, Dec. 22 — Someone broke into a home in the 20000 block of Scottsdale Boulevard and stole personal property.
Burglary, Dec. 25 — A home in the 16000 block of Scottsdale Boulevard was burglarized on Christmas Day. Personal property was stolen from the locked home, police say.
